Schwarzman College is proud to present the second Deloitte Lecture, a series made possible by the generous support of Deloitte. This lecture features Professor Kirby presenting his co-authored case study “Uber in China: Driving in the Gray Zone”, released by Harvard Business Publishing in 2016. The speaker will present the case of Uber in the context of modern US-China relations.

Attendees arriving at the college between 6:00 pm and 6:45 pm will receive a printed copy of the case “Uber in China: Driving in the Gray Zone”. To adhere with copyright regulations, the 32-page case may only be read one in CFLD hall, Schwarzman College. It is recommended that attendees come before the lecture to read the case as it will provide important background information for Professor Kirby’s presentation.
 

讲座嘉宾

柯伟林教授是哈佛大学T. M. Chang 中国研究讲席教授，哈佛商学院斯潘格勒家族（Spangler Family） 讲席教授。柯伟林教授曾获哈佛大学杰出贡献教授称号，目前担任哈佛中国基金主席。

作为一名现代中国历史学家，柯伟林教授的研究关注于国际环境下的中国商业、经济和政治发展。他的作品涵盖现代中国商业发展（包括国有与私营商业）、中国公司法和公司组织、中国自由史、50年代国际范围内的社会主义经济、海峡两岸关系、中欧及中美关系等。他目前从事的研究包括当代中国商业研究和中欧美三地高等教育比较研究。
