Tammy Bui is the daughter of Vietnamese refugees, an epidemiologist, and the Co-Founder of WeCanVax, an organization combating COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. Her master’s in public health at McGill ignited her passion for tackling issues intersecting global policy, racial justice, and health equity. She was named a Canada Graduate Scholar, a Dr. Roberta Bondar Emerging Woman in STEM, and a 2022 NEXT36 Canada Entrepreneur. Being a Schwarzman Scholar means Tammy can equip and empower marginalized communities with equal opportunity for health and social services. She aspires to be at the forefront of health advocacy and community-led policy change in Canada.
