Shin Ehara recently received a bachelor’s degree in Data Science from the University of California San Diego, where he founded the school’s first student-run startup incubator. He currently works at Goldman Sachs as an Equity Research Analyst in Tokyo focused on the global semiconductor space. Previously, Shin worked for SoftBank’s AI-focused VC and multiple tech startups. As a Schwarzman Scholar, he hopes to gain a deeper understanding of China’s startup landscape as well as technology and science policies and find new ways to make Japan’s innovation economies more globally competitive. Shin is from Japan.
