David Shin graduated summa cum laude from Boise State University with a degree in Economics. He is interested in the relationship between education and economic development and is passionate about improving global educational outcomes. A Truman Scholar, he developed and implemented education programs for refugees, prisoners, and at-risk children, leading around 50 volunteers. He has also researched education and workforce trends at think tanks, local governments, and international organizations, most recently at the United Nations. During the pandemic, he founded Modern Leads, which instructs startup owners on how to advertise digitally. David is from the United States.
