Alistair Mukondiwa is a Medical Doctor and Global Health advocate aiming to pursue a career in health system strengthening. He served as Vice-President of the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) and on the Advisory Board of ‘Youth Combating Neglected Tropical Diseases,’ an initiative amplifying community health activities of young people. He co-founded a non-profit, ‘I Am Zimbabwean,’ working on computer literacy, academic support for teenagers in resource-limited communities. Alistair was recognized as one of the Ten Outstanding Young People by Junior Chamber International (JCI) -Zimbabwe. Upon graduation, he intends to influence bold healthcare reforms in Africa. Alistair is from Zimbabwe.
