Edric Huang has facilitated social cohesion and economic justice initiatives across three continents. Since 2018, he has empowered over 600 refugees and other marginalized peoples to pursue their careers of choice. Edric also advises various NGOs based in NYC's hospitality industry, building models of worker ownership and cooperativism. Edric studied Anthropology and Poetry at Princeton, where he conducted ethnographic research on unhoused asylum seekers in the Parisian humanitarian landscape. Through Schwarzman Scholars, he hopes to build a more effective, humane, and global refugee regime. Edric is a native New Yorker and the American son of Chinese immigrants. Edric is from the United States.
