Bailey Johnson graduated with a B.S. in Biology and Chinese Cultural Studies from the University of Mary Washington. She created the university's first major in Chinese Cultural Studies with three research topics in Chinese politics, economics, and medicine. Bailey founded a STEM mentoring program for children living in disenfranchised communities and worked with Columbus public health to advocate for affordable health care services, health education, and minority health. She is employed at The National Institutes of Health as a cancer researcher. Her future goals include being a medical expert and leader in global health, acting as an intersection for international health policy between Chinese- U.S relations. Bailey is from the United States.
