亲爱的老师们、同学们、同事们、朋友们：

        岁序常易，华章日新。我们告别了极不平凡的2022年，迎来了充满希望的2023年。辞旧迎新之际，我们谨代表清华大学苏世民书院，向大家致以节日的问候和新年的祝福！

        过去的一年，有挑战亦有收获。第七届苏世民学者克服种种困难，从全球32个国家和地区相聚苏世民书院。在书院全体教职工的共同努力下，各项教学工作稳步推进，学生生活有序开展。面对世界百年未有之大变局，我们依然坚持秉承“立足中国，面向世界”的宗旨，相信携手同行定能创造更加美好的未来。

Dear faculty, students, colleagues, and friends:

        As 2023 draws near, we would like to extend New Year’s greetings on behalf of the Schwarzman College!

        Over the past year, our program has navigated challenges and made the most of new opportunities. The 7th cohort of Schwarzman Scholars, who hailed from 32 countries and regions around the world, cleared many hurdles to gather in person at Schwarzman College this year. Despite disruptions by COVID from time to time, teaching and learning activities have progressed smoothly, thanks to the efforts by our faculty and staff. Our scholars have integrated into Tsinghua community and begun their exploration of China beyond classrooms.  As the world undergoes profound changes unseen in a century, we at the College continue to pursue the approach of Taking Root in China and Embracing the World. We firmly believe that this community, by continuing to work together over the coming years, can help to create a better world in the future.
